This Privacy Policy describes how Metalogalva Prime Moldova (referred to as “we”, “the company”) collects, uses and protects the personal data of visitors to the metalogalva.md website (referred to as “the site”).

This policy is drawn up in accordance with Law No. 133/2011 of the Republic of Moldova on the protection of personal data and, from 23 August 2026, with Law No. 195/2024 on the protection of personal data. By using the site and submitting a request, you confirm that you have read the terms of this policy.

What data we collect

Data you provide voluntarily when filling in the request form:

  • first and last name;
  • company name (if provided);
  • email address;
  • phone number;
  • the product or service of interest;
  • the content of your message.

Data collected automatically when you visit the site:

  • IP address and the approximate location derived from it;
  • browser, device and operating system type;
  • pages viewed, date and time of the visit, referral source;
  • cookie identifiers and analytics identifiers.

Purposes and legal bases of processing

We process personal data for the following purposes:

  • handling requests and responding to enquiries, preparing commercial offers: based on your consent and to take steps at your request before entering into a contract;
  • communicating with you about the matters stated in your request and maintaining business relations: based on consent and legitimate interest;
  • analysing traffic and improving the site: based on our legitimate interest in assessing and improving how the site works; you can opt out of analytics cookies in your browser settings;
  • showing ads and measuring their effectiveness, including remarketing: based on our legitimate interest in promoting our services; you can opt out of personalised advertising as described in the «Advertising and Google Ads» section.

Cookies and similar technologies

The site uses cookies and similar technologies to make pages work, remember the selected language, analyse traffic and show relevant ads.

We use the following categories of cookies:

  • necessary: provide the basic operation of the site, language selection and security; without them the site does not work correctly;
  • analytics: help us understand how visitors use the site and which pages they open;

Advertising and Google Ads

We use Google Ads to promote our services, including remarketing and conversion tracking features.

Third-party vendors, including Google, show our ads on sites across the internet. These vendors, including Google, use cookies and device identifiers based on your past visits to our site in order to show you ads.

When the advertising tags fire, Google may collect cookies and device identifiers, the IP address used to infer approximate location, and the addresses of the pages visited, in order to measure ad effectiveness.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. To run the site and process requests we use service providers that process data on our behalf:

  • Google (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC): requests sent through the form are stored in Google Sheets (Google Workspace); Google Analytics and Google Ads are also used;
  • the hosting provider (Vercel Inc.): hosting the site and delivering its content.

Some providers may process data outside the Republic of Moldova, including in the European Union and the USA. In such cases, the transfer of data takes place subject to appropriate safeguards for its protection.

Data retention

We keep request data for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and maintain business relations, but no longer than the period set by law. Analytics and advertising data are kept in accordance with the settings of the relevant Google services.

Data security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. Data transmitted through the site is protected by HTTPS encryption, and access to requests is restricted.

Your rights

In accordance with the personal data protection legislation of the Republic of Moldova, you have the right to:

  • obtain information about your personal data and access to it;
  • request the rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • request the erasure of data (the right to be forgotten);
  • request restriction of processing or object to it;
  • withdraw consent given earlier at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal;
  • receive your data in a structured, portable format (the right to data portability, from 23 August 2026);
  • lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
